Dhan Guru Nanak Pargateya Miti Dhund Jag Chanan Hoya............

hmmm well today is Guru Purab "Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Birthday".. and I am at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.. don’t know much about this City.

Started work early... with plans to go to Gurudwara; but where ? then googled and got the address and contact numbers also. I called there .. got the land mark and we started (me and Ramesh Anna).....

We entered there... Kirtan was going on.. we sat there for 20-25 minutes...

"Guru Nanak's jayanti falls in the month of Kartik (October / November). The Sikhs believe that Guru Nanak brought enlightenment to the world, hence the festival is also called Prakash Utsav, the festival of light."
A decorative look with lightings and flowers with most Sikhs heading there.

Then we been for Langar... had "Parshada"
"Dānā pānī guru kā, tehal sevā sikhān dī"
(Food and Drink are the gifts of the Guru, Service and devotion contributed by his servitors)*

For Anna its first time to Visit a Gurdwara, he was observing everything very closely; and impressed on the public serving langar (Sevadar)......and me ..after a long time.... relaxed....
